The Metamorphosis of Charles Mott is a story about a business executive who falls in his bathtub, sustains a skull fracture and goes into a coma. While unconscious, he comes into contact with his superconscious mind. He learns about the effect of thought on reality as it is perceived by each individual. He accepts a challenge from his superconscious to try, when he recovers, to guide the thinking of his fellow human beings into different paths to effectively harmonize with their inner being and intent. The stated purpose is to free itself from the effects of negative thinking.
He decides that in order to be convincing, he must demonstrate in his own body that positive thought causes physical changes to occur. He then sets about to rejuvenate his body and gradually changes his physical appearance from a 66 year old to a man in thirties. |
